The best of both worlds! This slightly seasoned turkey breast & thigh roast is a great alternative to roasting a whole turkey. Suited to serve 6-10 people, it's boneless and very easy to slice. This roast is 60% white breast meat and 40% dark thigh meat. If any of the roast manages to hit the fridge as leftovers, this makes a nice treat as a sandwich.
Each roast weighs 2.25kg (5.0lb)
Ingredients: turkey breast, water, salt, sugars (dextrose), sodium phosphate.
Cooking Instructions: remove roast from the plastic film, keeping the netting intact. Since ovens vary, these instructions are guidelines only.
Conventional Oven:
1. place fresh or thawed roast in a roasting pan and pre-heat oven to 190C (375F)
2. roast turkey for 1 hour per kilo until the internal temperature reaches 74C (165F)
3. remove from heat, let sit for 10 minutes before carving.
