WE CARE - Due to an increased demand for quality lamb we have grown our flock larger than we have fresh pasture for.
Our sheep will now be raised in Norfolk by our farmers Carrie & Brett. The sheep get to roam freely around 60,000 cherry trees. Allowing our grass-fed livestock to graze freely amongst the fruit trees makes perfect sense. The innovative process provides shade, shelter and space for the sheep to forage. In return, the grazing animals help improve soil health and save Carrie & Brett's orchard more than $30,000 per year in grass-cutting costs. Our eco-friendly approach demonstrates how farmers can work together to be more environmentally aware and help meet Ontario's demand for local, grass-fed lamb.
